Kill the Noise — Dubstep & Electro House DJKill the Noise
Jacob Stanczak, known as Kill the Noise, is an American DJ and electronic artist from Rochester, New York, of Polish descent. Active under the Kill the Noise name since 2003 after earlier work as Ewun, he operates across dubstep, electro house, brostep and drumstep. His sound draws on film and metal influences and often crosses into rock, metal and hip-hop collaborations. Kill the Noise has performed at Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Lollapalooza, Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, Spring Awakening, Holy Ship, Electric Zoo, Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, Tomorrowland and Fuji Rock.
He also appeared with Korn on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2012 and co-headlined the Bassrush stage at Electric Daisy Carnival with 12th Planet in 2018. His debut album Occult Classic arrived through OWSLA in 2015, featuring AWOLNATION and Dillon Francis. He co-founded Slow Roast Records with DJ Craze in 2010 and has released through labels including OWSLA, Monstercat, Atlantic, Proximity and Ophelia.
His video work was selected twice by MTV Clubland, for Kill the Noise (Part I) in 2012 and Black Magic (Kill the Noise Pt II) in 2013. The project remains defined by heavy bass music, wide festival reach and collaborators from beyond electronic music.
