About Richy Ahmed
Richy Ahmed, a house DJ and producer from South Shields, England, is a resident of Paradise, the Hot Creations party held at DC10 in Ibiza, and a partner in the label itself alongside its Hot Natured-affiliated roster. He recorded a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix broadcast on 29 November 2014, one of dance radio's most recognized DJ mix platforms, and released his own DJ mix, Rinse: 23, through Rinse Recordings in 2013, complete with an accompanying sampler. Ahmed has played major festival stages including Glastonbury, Tomorrowland in Belgium and BPM in Mexico, as well as club sets at Dubai's Blue Marlin, building an international touring profile around his house and tech house sound. His releases, including The Drums, were named a Pete Tong Essential New Tune, keeping his productions in rotation among touring house DJs, while his catalogue spans Hot Creations, Rinse Recordings and Strictly Rhythm. Ahmed's role within Hot Creations extends beyond DJing into label partnership, giving him a hand in shaping the direction of one of house music's most prominent imprints while continuing to headline Paradise parties at DC10 and tour internationally on the strength of his productions and mixes.
