Zany
Zany, real name Raoul van Grinsven, is a Dutch DJ and producer who has worked in hardstyle since shifting away from his earlier techno and trance productions in the early 2000s. He was previously a member of the Shadowlands Terrorists and toured internationally both with that group and under his own name. In 2002 he launched the Donkey Rollers project, which was aired as an act at Defqon.1 Festival in 2005, one of the genre's largest gatherings.
From 2001 onward he produced EPs and remixes for Fusion Records under a variety of pseudonyms, and he later became the label's owner, releasing tracks including Be On Your Way, Rock The Beatz, and Xpander / Tekno through the imprint across the mid-2000s. Zany's sets and productions are associated with the harder, faster end of Dutch dance music, reflecting his roots in the hardcore scene before his move into hardstyle. His discography on Fusion Records spans singles and remixes released steadily between 2002 and 2005, cementing his footing in the genre's early development.
He continues to be documented across Dutch and international Wikipedia entries as a working hardstyle disc jockey and producer.
