Yellow Claw is the Dutch DJ duo of Jim Taihuttu and Nils Rondhuis, formed in Amsterdam. Former member Leonardo Roelandschap, known as Bizzey, was part of the group as a rapper from 2010 until 2016. The duo's sound mixes trap, hip hop, dubstep, hardstyle and moombahton. They built early popularity from mid-2010 by founding and hosting a night at Amsterdam club Jimmy Woo, before charting in the Netherlands and Belgium with singles including Krokobil, Nooit Meer Slapen, Thunder and Last Night Ever.
In 2013, Yellow Claw signed to Diplo's Mad Decent, appeared on BBC Radio 1's Diplo and Friends and made its Tomorrowland debut. Shotgun with Rochelle then reached the top 10 in the Netherlands and the top 20 in Belgium. The duo founded Barong Family in 2014; the label has since grown to more than 600 releases. Their festival history includes DirtyDutch, Sneakerz, Latin Village, Solar, Tomorrowland and EDC Las Vegas, where they played their final show as a trio in 2016.
Yellow Claw made its Tomorrowland Mainstage debut in 2017 and later signed to Roc Nation in 2019. Through changes in membership and label homes, the project has remained anchored in a high-impact blend of bass-heavy styles and Amsterdam club roots.
