Xilent
Xilent is a Polish-born producer and DJ who broke into the dubstep scene with the 2011 release Choose Me II, followed by Beyond, which BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe dubbed the hottest record in the world, and the widely streamed Boss Wave. His debut album, We Are Virtual, released in May 2015, blended his dubstep foundation with trance, electro, and drum and bass elements, earning a Best Album nomination at the Bass Music Awards in 2015.
His track The Fall, a collaboration with Seven Lions, was released through Skrillex's Owsla imprint and became one of his most widely circulated tracks. Xilent has released through Disciple Recordings, UKF's Pilot Records, Tritonal's Enhanced Music, and SKisM's Never Say Die Records, label affiliations that place him within the genre's touring and festival circuit.
He joined Zomboy's Rott N Roll tour across North America, extending his live performance profile beyond festival dates. In the years following his debut album, Xilent shifted focus toward passing on production knowledge through live streams on his Twitch channel, while continuing to release originals and remixes and building a following for his Powerpack sample series on Splice, two of which remain among the platform's most popular dubstep-focused packs.
