Wolf + Lamb

Wolf + Lamb are Brooklyn-born DJs and producers Zev Eisenberg and Gadi Mizrahi, whose house label and party series of the same name grew out of their Marcy Hotel space in Williamsburg starting in the early 2000s. The Marcy Hotel functioned as a recording studio, event space and living quarters, hosting gatherings that built the duo's early reputation as DJs and drew comparisons to the visionary spirit of Factory Records for its combined label-and-venue model. Their productions, including their debut album Love Someone, drew on fragmented, psychedelic and deliberately slow house tracks influenced by Moodymann and leftfield disco, layered with elements of minimal techno.

Wolf + Lamb launched their digital label in 2005 as an outlet for their own music and that of artists shaped by their parties, becoming early adopters of digital DJing before expanding into vinyl releases in 2008 after a production trip to Germany. The label roster has included Seth Troxler, Lee Curtiss, Shaun Reeves and Ryan Crosson, alongside emerging producers such as Nicolas Jaar, connecting Wolf + Lamb to the broader minimal and tech house scene that developed around their events. Their sound shifted from techno roots toward friendlier house textures following the 2007 EP Bear Valley, a direction reflected across the label's catalog and their own DJ sets since.

The duo continue to release music through Wolf + Lamb Records, based in Brooklyn, maintaining the party-and-label ecosystem they built around Marcy Hotel.
