Whomadewho
WhoMadeWho is a Danish trio of Tomas Barfod, Tomas Høffding, and Jeppe Kjellberg who formed in Copenhagen in 2003 and built a career straddling live performance and DJ sets. Barfod in particular has developed a solo DJ career alongside the group, playing at fabric in London and Panorama Bar in Berlin, two clubs central to European house and techno culture.
As a group, WhoMadeWho has performed at Coachella, Burning Man, Roskilde, and Sonar, festivals that mix live bands with electronic acts, and their sets often blend live instrumentation with DJ-style mixing and extended dance grooves. The band's approach has made them a recurring presence on European festival lineups that book acts occupying the space between live music and club DJing.
Their releases have supported this touring and performing career without overtaking it as the primary focus of their public identity. WhoMadeWho's standing rests on this hybrid practice, in which club dates and DJ bookings for members individually sit alongside the group's live shows, giving them a footprint in both traditional club circuits and the festival circuit built around Scandinavian and European electronic music.
