Wally Lopez

Wally López, born Ángel David López Álvarez on 6 April 1976 in San Blas, Madrid, is a Spanish house and tech house DJ. He began working as a DJ and radio presenter at the young age of thirteen, and by 1995 was hosting a radio program on Cadena Top Radio in Écija called La Ruta del Top while also DJing at Jockerqueen in Córdoba.

After stints at stations including Loca FM and Flaix FM, López launched his own weekly radio show, La Factoría, on Máxima FM, broadcast every Friday and syndicated in English to stations in Belgium, France, Italy and Russia. He is regarded as one of the pioneers of house music in Spain and founded the label Weekend Records in 2000, through which he remixed artists including Tiësto, Marco V, Dirty Vegas, Bob Sinclar, Robbie Rivera, Armand Van Helden and David Guetta, whose Just a Little More Love remix became Guetta's first major international hit and earned López an Ibiza DJ Award in 2004.

He has also remixed Spanish pop artists including Mónica Naranjo, Miguel Bosé and La Oreja de Van Gogh. López continues to tour internationally, playing sunset and house sets from Ibiza to global club dates while maintaining his long-running Máxima FM radio presence.
