Volac
Volac is a Russian DJ and production duo formed in 2013 in Irkutsk by Sasha Gorohov and Stas Moskalev, working across bass house, g-house, and deep house. Gray Area and Runiversalis both describe the pair as a synchronized DJ team that has built its sets around groovy, bass-forward house music since forming, extending their reach through international touring across the United States, Australia, and Brazil.
Their profile grew from Irkutsk's Baikalskaya Street scene into a broader Russian dance circuit before expanding onto global festival and club stages, with press coverage in outlets like GoToParty tracing their rise from local recognition to overseas gigs. As a DJ duo they perform back-to-back sets built on driving low-end grooves, a format that has helped position Volac among Russia's more internationally touring house acts.
Interviews with the pair, including one conducted by Discoklub, describe Irkutsk as their formative base and the starting point for a project built specifically around DJing rather than solely studio production. Their catalog and touring history reflect a career oriented around club and festival performance, with releases supporting a live DJ circuit that spans multiple continents.
