Vlada Asanin
Vlada Asanin is a Serbian-born, Madrid-based tech house DJ and producer whose sets, running since the late 1990s, are credited with helping shape Madrid's underground scene into an internationally recognized hotspot. Fusing Iberian rhythms with Balkan influences, his sound has been described as blending sun-soaked grooves with organic basslines and intricate Eastern European melodic touches, a signature that has carried his DJ sets from Ibiza's clubs to Berlin's dancefloors. His productions have appeared on labels including 45ke, H.A.S.H.T.A.G., Tropica Records, Balkanizer Records, Hossa House, Jungle Funk Recordings and Glasgow Underground, spreading his output across a broad swath of the house and tech house label landscape. Asanin studied classical music as a child before turning to electronic music in his teens, a background that has informed the melodic character of both his productions and his DJ sets. Over more than two decades behind the decks, he has built a reputation as one of the pioneers of what has been termed the Iberian tech house movement, touring clubs and festivals worldwide while remaining closely associated with Madrid's dance music identity.
