Vintage Culture

Lukas Rafael Ruiz Hespanhol, known as Vintage Culture, is a Brazilian house and dance DJ from Mundo Novo, Mato Grosso do Sul. Active in music since 2011, he has built his profile around house-focused releases, collaborations and a steadily growing international presence. His early momentum included the Hollywood EP, released in 2016 through Ganzá in partnership with Spinnin' Records, while his remix of Sofi Tukker's Drinkee reached number four on Beatport's dance chart.

As a DJ and record-company manager at Só Track Boa, he balances performance work with a role in the wider dance-music infrastructure. His collaborations include Pour Over with Adam K and Coffee (Give Me Something) with Tiësto, reinforcing a sound centered on accessible, club-oriented house. In 2019, In the Dark with Fancy Inc reached number one on the US Dance Club chart.

Recognition in Brazil arrived early: he won Melhor DJ Big Room at the Rio Music Conference in 2015 and placed second in House Mag's Best Brazilian DJs list that year. His trajectory in the DJ Magazine Top 100 poll rose from outside the Top 100 in 2015 to 54 in 2016, 31 in 2017, 19 in 2018 and nine in 2024. That sustained ascent reflects a career built around contemporary house, collaborative records and a firm connection to Brazil's dance scene.
