Vibe Tribe — Psytrance DJ & Live ActVibe Tribe
Vibe Tribe were an Israeli psytrance act from Qiryat Gat fronted by Stas Marnyanski, who began producing electronic music at age 13 and, after four years of experimentation, launched a professional career built around touring DJ and live performances. The project was active from 2002 to 2022, releasing the albums Melodrama in 2004, Wise Cracks in 2006, Destination Unknown in 2009 and Urban Legend in 2011, records that anchored their sets on the international psytrance festival circuit.
Marnyanski cited sharing a bill with The Prodigy as one of the most meaningful moments of his touring career, a marker of Vibe Tribe's crossover appeal beyond the psytrance scene alone. Elmar Ivatarov, a founding member, left the project after its 2006 album and continued independently as a solo artist, while Marnyanski carried the Vibe Tribe name forward for the remainder of the act's two-decade run.
Vibe Tribe built its reputation on publishing tracks across numerous compilation releases circulated among the psytrance DJ community, a common route to visibility within that scene before an act earns headline festival slots. Marnyanski continued producing and performing under the Vibe Tribe name until his death from a heart attack on 30 October 2022, at age 37, closing out a career defined by steady festival touring and long-running studio partnerships within Israeli psytrance.
