Ultra Naté
Ultra Naté is a Baltimore singer, songwriter, DJ, producer and promoter whose breakout hit "Free" became a defining house anthem and helped establish her as a crossover figure between vocal house and club DJ culture. Beyond her recording career, she has built an active DJ profile through her Deep Sugar party series and imprint in Baltimore, a platform she runs to showcase house music and give space to other DJs alongside her own sets. Her DJ work has been documented through sessions such as her Traxsource Live!
set, which captured her mixing style for an online audience beyond her regular club dates. Ultra Naté's dual role as both a performing vocalist and a working club DJ has given her a distinctive position within house music, with her Deep Sugar nights serving as a long-running home base in Baltimore's house scene. Her career spans several decades, moving between studio recording, live vocal performances and DJ sets that draw on deep and classic house influences.
Combining her recognizable voice with consistent DJ bookings and her own party brand, Ultra Naté has remained an active presence in house music well beyond her chart-era hits.
