Tujamo
Tujamo, born Matthias Richter in Detmold on January 18, 1988, is a German electro house DJ and producer who began DJing at age 17 and won a talent competition hosted by Club Index in Schüttorf in 2006, a victory that made him a resident DJ at the venue. He began using the Tujamo name that same year and released his debut single, Mombasa, in 2011, before his 2012 collaboration with Plastik Funk, Who, became a notable hit at the Winter Music Conference in Miami. His track With U was named the official anthem of Romania's Untold Festival in 2018, and his touring schedule has taken him across South America, Turkey, Brazil, and Russia. Signed to Spinnin' Records, Musical Freedom, and Dim Mak among other electro house-focused labels, he was ranked within DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll, appearing at position 35 in the 2022 edition alongside a career built on tracks including Drop That Low. Tujamo has worked alongside major names in stadium-scale dance music, including Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Kid Ink, extending his profile from his Club Index residency in Schüttorf into a globally touring electro house career spanning close to two decades.
