Tristan
Tristan is the performing name of British DJ and producer Tristan Cooke, who has spent more than 30 years playing psytrance and Goa trance sets at festivals and clubs around the world. His DJ sets favor the hypnotic, layered builds characteristic of Goa-style psytrance, a style he has helped keep prominent through repeated festival bookings across Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Tristan has released a string of albums through Nano Records, including Chemisphere in 2007, Way of Life in 2014 and Crazy Wisdom in 2022, material that feeds directly into the long-form sets he plays live. He also recorded as part of Killerwatts, a collaborative project with fellow producer Avalon that toured psytrance festival stages and added another outlet for his DJ and production work.
Across three decades in the scene, Tristan has remained closely associated with the psytrance festival circuit, playing extended sets that reflect the genre's emphasis on continuous, evolving mixes rather than short club slots. His longevity in the space has made him one of the more consistently booked names within Goa and psytrance festival programming internationally.
