Treasure Fingers

Treasure Fingers is the recording name of Ashley Jones, an Atlanta-based DJ and producer who started out in the drum and bass band Evol Intent before shifting toward house and disco-leaning club productions. His club track Cross the Dancefloor became a widely noted dancefloor hit, helping establish him on the Fool's Gold Records roster, and his catalogue also includes releases on Defected, Scion A/V and Nest HQ. Treasure Fingers has built a substantial remix resume, reworking tracks by Chromeo, Lifelike, Laidback Luke, Miami Horror and Miike Snow, placing him within the blog-house and nu-disco remix circuit of the late 2000s and early 2010s. He later moved into hip hop-adjacent production, contributing to Young Thug's Slime Season 2, an unusual crossover from club and remix work into mainstream rap production. Jones' path from a drum and bass group to a Fool's Gold-signed solo house and disco act, and eventually into major label-adjacent hip hop production, traces a broader migration many 2000s-era club producers made across genres as blog house gave way to other dance and remix trends, with his remix catalogue remaining the most consistent thread across that career arc.
