About Tom & Collins
Tom & Collins is the Mexican DJ duo of Juan Pablo Escudero, known as Tom, and Jorge Corral, known as Collins. From Mexico City, they work across house and tech-house while bringing Latin, Afro, pop and hip-hop influences into their selections and productions. Their career began in 2012 after an eight-hour back-to-back set led to a club residency, providing the start of a long-running partnership.
A 2017 rework of Tracy Chapman's Give Me One Reason marked a breakthrough, and Mutual is cited as their best-known track. Their live schedule has included Zamna Mexico City and EDSea Miami in 2023, two documented settings for their house-oriented sound. They received Best Electronic Artist at the MTV Millennial Awards in both 2018 and 2019, and later appeared in the 2021 DJ Mag Top 100.
The duo's name comes from the Tom Collins cocktail, a small detail consistent with their accessible, celebratory club presentation. Their sets and releases draw on the rhythmic connection between house and tech-house, allowing Latin and Afro elements to sit alongside pop and hip-hop references. From the residency that launched the partnership through their major Mexican and Miami appearances, Tom & Collins have built a DJ identity around crossover house music and a shared back-to-back energy.
