The Partysquad
The Partysquad are a Dutch production and DJ team consisting of Jerry Leembruggen, Ruben Fernhout, and Lorenzo Biemans, active since 1998 and known for playing live sets that blend dance, hip hop, hardstyle, and Dutch house at events including the Breda Dance Music Festival. Since the early 2000s they have placed 12 singles on the Dutch Top 40, building a national profile before extending their reach internationally through production work for British rapper M.I.A., contributing to her fourth and fifth albums, Matangi and AIM, released in 2013 and 2016. Their 2006 hip hop album, De Bazen Van De Club, spawned six charting Dutch singles, including Rampeneren featuring Ali B and Yes-R, which reached number four on the Dutch Top 40. The Partysquad's DJ sets and production work span labels including Universal, Mad Decent, Spinnin' Records, and Dim Mak, connecting their Dutch club roots to international bass and trap-adjacent dance scenes. Performing under the collective name with members styled as DJ Jerry, MC Ruben, and MC Laurent, the trio continues to combine live DJ performance with ongoing studio production across multiple dance subgenres.
