Terravita

Terravita is the British bass music trio of Chris Barlow, Matt Simmers, and Jon Spero, known as the drum and bass-leaning alter ego of the electro act Hot Pink Delorean before establishing their own identity making bass and house music. Their earliest tracks were picked up in 2006 by Bad Taste Recordings, the label run by Maldini and Vegas, resulting in four releases on the Bad Taste 2 compilation. Simon Bassline Smith subsequently signed the group to his Technique Recordings label, where they released four singles including the jump-up track Adult Robot Kung Fu, before parting ways to release with Subsonik Sound.

Their remix of AK1200's Drowning reached number four on Beatport's Drum and Bass chart, and in November 2010, their track Up in the Club hit number four on the Dubstep chart, followed by Lockdown breaking the top ten on the same chart. Their January 2011 debut EP for Rottun produced two more Beatport dubstep chart hits, Freak Out and The Beat Goes On, alongside Break the System, which reached number two. Their March 2011 remix of Tremourz and J.

Rabbit's Sexy Party held the top spot on Beatport's drum and bass chart for over a month, and their remix of Datsik and Bare's King Kong extended their reach into the festival bass scene. The group received radio support from BBC Radio 1's Kissy Sell Out.
