Teenage Mutants
Teenage Mutants are a German techno duo comprising producers named Christian and Fabio, based in Hamburg, whose DJ activity is documented on Resident Advisor from 2013 onward. The pair are described on their Beatport artist page as DJ/producers whose sound is built around what they call "techno with drama" — heady, hypnotic tools built for the dancefloor.
Their DJ practice began with a self-run party at Baumhaus on Hamburg's Reeperbahn and has since expanded into a steady touring circuit across German clubs, with Resident Advisor listing Ritter Butzke, Watergate, Freud Raum für Kunst und Kultur and Birgit among their most-played venues, alongside regular dates in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne and Barcelona. They appear frequently on shared bills alongside acts including Klaudia Gawlas, Björn Torwellen, Bloody Mary and Robosonic, and have played the Berlin Dance Music Event and open-air series such as Techno Dampfer.
On record their work has surfaced on Drumcode, Terminal M, Suara, Stil vor Talent, Filth on Acid, 1605, Codex Recordings, Tronic and Noir Music, keeping their releases tightly aligned with the techno labels whose parties book them. The duo continue to work primarily as a touring club act.
