Technoboy — Hardstyle DJ & ProducerTechnoboy
Technoboy, born Cristiano Giusberti in Bologna, Italy, is a hardstyle DJ and producer who started out playing vinyl in 1992, when he was offered a residency at an Italian club under the earlier alias DJ Gius. That residency, along with club work at venues including Pachito Club, Elixer Vitae, Escape, Station and East Side, built the foundation for his career before he adopted the Technoboy name for his first gig under that alias in 2001, in the Netherlands.
Alongside his DJ work, Giusberti began an A&R career in 1992 for Route 66 Music Market for DJ's, later joining Arsenic Sound in 1996, giving him a parallel role shaping other artists' releases while continuing to perform himself. His hardstyle sound is described as hard, energetic and banging dance music delivered with a touch of Italian style, and his mixed compilation series Italian Hardstyle has run across multiple volumes documenting his sets.
He is also a member of groups including Hardstyle Masterz, the Italian Hardstyle Mafia and TNT & Triple T, collaborative projects that place him at the centre of Italy's hardstyle scene. Active as a DJ for more than three decades since his 1992 vinyl-era start, Technoboy remains one of the established Italian names in the genre, with hundreds of documented DJ bookings logged over his career.
