Tchami — Future House & Bass House DJTchami
Tchami, born Martin Joseph Léonard Bresso on 12 May 1985 in Paris, is a French DJ credited with pioneering the future house sound. He began releasing music in December 2013 with the EP Promesses and quickly moved into major festival DJ slots, playing Coachella in 2016, 2020 and 2022 and the Ultra Music Festival mainstage in Miami across multiple years starting in 2017.
Tchami launched his own label, Confession, in 2015, using it as a platform for his DJ sets and for the future house and bass house sound he helped define, and he has toured under the Confession banner internationally. As part of the Pardon My French collective alongside DJ Snake, Malaa and Mercer, Tchami has played back-to-back festival sets that have become a fixture of the global electronic touring circuit, including joint Tchami x Malaa shows at Ultra Music Festival, Parookaville in Germany, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and Balaton Sound in Hungary.
His DJ sets have also been documented in the DAD Mix series. Tchami's club and festival appearances, built around a house-music foundation with gospel and vocal-house influences, established him as one of the defining French DJs of the mid-2010s house revival.
