Supernova
Supernova is an Italian house DJ and production duo, Emiliano Nencioni and Giacomo Godi, both born and based in Florence, who met and formed the project in 2003 after Giacomo spent six years producing soundtracks for Giorgio Armani's fashion shows. Active on the national and international DJ circuit for more than two decades, the duo founded three record labels, including Lapsus Music, Downtown Underground and Blackboard, using them to release their own material and support other house producers.
Supernova has performed internationally at venues such as The Penthouse in Dubai, building a classic Chicago house and acid jazz-informed sound refined across years of club dates and studio sessions. Their discography spans two studio albums, dozens of compilations and hundreds of individual releases, with tracks and mixes distributed through Beatport and their own imprints.
The duo has delivered live DJ sets streamed from Florence, including a set titled 'It's My House' broadcast from Torre San Niccolò, and Croatian and regional European dance media have profiled them discussing the DJ profession's rising visibility. Now well into their second decade as a touring act, Supernova remain active on the international house circuit, balancing label curation with ongoing DJ bookings.
