Sub6

Sub6, the Israeli psytrance duo of brothers Golan and Ohad Aharony, has been active since the early 2000s, performing at Brixton Academy in London, Ozora Festival in Hungary, Tribe and XXXperience in Brazil, Club Ageha in Tokyo, Arvika Festival in Sweden, and Earthcore's Global Carnival in Australia. Their debut album, “Who Needs Love Songs,” was released by Hommega in 2004, and their catalogue includes tracks such as “Rahe'ya” and “7th Son,” a collaboration with vocalist Michele Adamson that became part of a run of influential singles remixed more than fifty times by artists including Astrix, Captain Hook, and GMS. Sub6's tracks and remixes have been licensed to Ministry of Sound, Armada, and Warner Japan, and the duo has also released a remix of Chimo Bayo's “Asi Me Gusta A Mi.” Their sound blends acid, dub, and 1990s-inspired textures, a signature that helped establish them within the international psytrance festival circuit spanning Europe, South America, Asia, and Australia. Sub6's global festival footprint and Hommega-released debut album reflect a career built on the psytrance touring circuit's core network of dedicated events rather than mainstream dance-chart crossover.
