Stefano Noferini is an Italian tech-house DJ born in Florence. He began his career in the city's clubs in the late 1970s and became a resident at Titilla, Cocoricò's private club in Riccione, as well as Fitzcarraldo in Arezzo through the 1980s and 1990s. Those residencies gave a practical club foundation to a career that later brought a steadily more popular tech-house sound.
Noferini released the albums From Here To Moon in 1995 and Van in 1997, and in 1998 he travelled to Berlin's Love Parade in an Italian truck. He founded the Deeperfect label in 2003 and has also released through Sound4Group, Toolroom Records and Spinnin' Records. His 2009 collaboration “Push N Pull,” credited with Sylvia Tosun and Marini, reached the top of Billboard's Dance Club Songs in 2010.
The following year he received Beatport's Artist of the Year award, and in March 2013 his track “Goes On” with Umek won the IDMA award for Best Minimal Techno Track in Miami. Noferini's profile joins decades of resident-DJ experience with a label platform and recognisable tech-house records. From Florence's clubs and Riccione's Titilla to Love Parade and the Deeperfect catalogue, he has maintained a consistent connection to the dance floor while building a lasting international presence.
