Sneijder
Sneijder is the performing name of Andrew Liggett, an Irish trance DJ and producer from Portadown, Northern Ireland, based in Lurgan, who has built his reputation on a fusion of uplifting and tech trance carrying an undercurrent of 90s rave energy. Liggett has released across trance labels including Armada, Black Hole Recordings, Subculture, Kearnage, Spinnin' and FSOE, with remixes and edits regularly featured on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance radio show.
In 2016 he launched his own label, Afterdark, as an outlet for tech and trance material more experimental than his mainstream releases, cementing his position in the tech trance scene. Sneijder has produced Beatport number-one singles including "In and Out of My Life," "Dawn," "You Take My Breath Away" and "Bring The Noize," the latter also serving as the title of his second full-length artist album in 2023.
He has remixed material for Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila and John O'Callaghan, and performs regularly at trance events across Australia, the UK, Ireland, Egypt, Poland, Spain, the U.S., Mexico and Canada, including headline sets at ASOT600 in Den Bosch. In 2023 he introduced a side project, alt1, drawing on his roots in hardcore, hard trance and rave, and continues to play open-to-close sets, including a 2026 Belfast date under the combined Sneijder vs Alt1 banner.
