Sister Bliss
Sister Bliss, born Ayalah Bentovim, is a British keyboardist, producer, and DJ best known as a core member of Faithless, the group she co-formed in 1995 with Rollo, Jamie Catto, and Maxi Jazz. Beyond her role as Faithless's keyboard and production anchor, she performs as a DJ in her own right, mixing house, progressive house, and trance sets that draw on the same genres her studio work with Rollo, as the production duo Rollo & Sister Bliss, helped popularize.
Her live performances with Faithless, including keyboard and DJ-style sets captured at festivals such as Palmesus in Kristiansand, Norway, have blurred the line between her studio and DJ roles on stage. Sister Bliss has discussed her rave-era beginnings and the lasting impact of Faithless's global hits in interviews reflecting on her decades-long career in dance music.
Her Mixcloud channel documents her standalone DJ sets, distinct from her Faithless performances, showing a continued individual presence within house and trance circles. Across both her band work and solo DJ output, Sister Bliss has remained a consistent figure connecting 1990s UK dance music to contemporary festival stages.
