Sinisa Tamamovic
Sinisa Tamamovic is a Bosnian techno and tech-house DJ who began playing out in his hometown of Banja Luka in the late 1990s after being drawn to the deep and minimal sounds sweeping Europe at the time. Since 1999 he has partnered with fellow Banja Luka DJ Mladen Tomic through their Urban Beat organization, which grew into one of Bosnia's leading promoters of club nights and festival bookings. Tamamovic went on to build a touring career spanning Europe, Latin America and the United States, and in 2011 he relocated to London to continue developing his sound.
His first vinyl release came in December 2005, opening the door to an international profile, and he has since released tracks and remixes on labels including Dubfire's Sci+Tec, Tronic, Second State, Truesoul, Yoshitoshi, Elevate and Systematic Recordings. He also co-founded his own label, Night Light Records, with Tomic. Recent tour dates have taken him to venues such as Colours Hoxton in London and Cafe Mambo in Banja Luka, alongside festival and club bookings across France and Croatia.
His sound is defined by twisted techno, tech-house and minimal beats delivered with what fans and promoters describe as precise mixing skill.
