Simon O'shine
Simon O'Shine, born Wojciech Świca on 11 September 1992 in Poland, is a Polish trance and progressive trance DJ and producer known for original ideas and euphoric breakdowns across a catalogue that spans uplifting and high-energy trance styles. He has performed alongside major trance names at large festivals including Electric Daisy Carnival and Dreamstate California, and his productions have received support from Armin van Buuren, who has played his music on concert tours and featured it on radio broadcasts.
His breakout track Apprehension, a collaboration with producer Sergey Nevone released on the EP The Plague, combined soaring classical strings with the large-scale breakdowns characteristic of the uplifting trance style, helping win both artists a wider following. Other productions including Last Goodbye, Jasmine, Miss You and Your Distant World have built out his catalogue since his early releases.
O'Shine has played the Luminosity Beach Festival in Zandvoort, with an appearance recorded as recently as June 2025, and has also performed at Trance Friends Festival in Krakow alongside Arctic Moon, Andromedha and Kinetica. Despite his primary focus on uplifting trance, his catalogue reflects experimentation across the wider trance spectrum rather than adherence to a single subgenre.
