Sigma
Sigma is the drum and bass DJ and production duo of Cameron James Edwards and Joseph Aluin Lenzie, formed in Harpenden in 2007 and active in electronic dance music ever since. The duo founded their own label, Life Recordings, in December 2008, and have also released through Breakbeat Kaos, Hospital Records and 3 Beat Records, later launching the independent imprint Day Ones for 2025's Day One. Sigma debuted their live show at Future Music Festival in Sydney in February 2015, then toured the UK, Europe, Australasia and the United States in 2012, supporting DJ Fresh on his first live UK tour and joining dates with Christopher Mercer, known as Rusko. Their April 2015 headline tour of the UK sold out every date, culminating at Electric Brixton, and they followed with a ten-date headline run that November before announcing an even larger 2016 tour including a show at O2 Academy Brixton. Their single Higher, featuring Labrinth, premiered on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show in January 2015, and the duo later toured Europe alongside grime artist NAHLI, cementing their standing within UK drum and bass's crossover into pop and mainstream radio.
