Shaun Reeves
Shaun Reeves is a Detroit-born DJ and producer who spent more than 15 years based in Berlin, where he became a fixture in clubs including Club der Visionaere, before founding the Visionquest collective alongside Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtiss and Seth Troxler. Raised amid Detroit's techno culture and influenced by Chicago and New York's house scenes, Reeves grew into a DJ described by Mixmag as an unreal producer and similarly well-skilled selector, constantly in demand across Europe's club circuit.
He has played festivals including Unum in Albania and appeared as a regular guest on mix podcast series such as Little White Earbuds, where he detailed influences from labelmates Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson and Wolf + Lamb affiliate Cesar Merveille. As one-fourth of the Detroit-rooted Visionquest crew, Reeves helped build the group's international reputation for cosmic, underground house and techno, exporting a Detroit-to-Berlin sound to clubs and festivals worldwide.
He maintains a consistent label release schedule through Visionquest alongside his DJ touring, and Electronic Groove has described his influence as extending well beyond the cities he has called home. Reeves continues to perform internationally, carrying the Visionquest project's cosmic house and techno sound to new audiences.
