Sebastian — Electro House DJ & Producer

Sebastian, born Sébastien Akchoté-Božović on 3 February 1981 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, and stylized as SebastiAn, is a DJ and producer affiliated with Ed Banger Records since his career began in 2005. He joined fellow Ed Banger artist Kavinsky for DJ sets that opened for Daft Punk on the Alive 2007 tour, a run of shows that placed him within the French electro house scene's biggest touring moment of that decade. Sebastian played the Festival des Vieilles Charrues in 2008 and delivered his first live set as an exclusive performance at Sónar Festival in Barcelona in 2009, before undertaking the Primary Tour from August to December 2011 across Europe, Australasia and North America. Working across electro house, electro and glitch-influenced house, Sebastian built his DJ and live-performance career on the Ed Banger and Because Music labels, the imprints that released the material forming the backbone of his sets. His association with the Alive 2007 tour and Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter placed him at the center of the mid-2000s French electro scene, and his subsequent Primary Tour extended that reputation into a global touring DJ and live-performance career spanning multiple continents.
