San Holo
San Holo is the stage name of Sander van Dijck, a Dutch DJ and producer from Zoetermeer who gained wide recognition through his remix of Dr. Dre's “The Next Episode,” which has drawn more than 272 million views on YouTube. His first EP, Cosmos, was released via Heroic in September 2014 and reached the Top 100 of iTunes' electronic chart, and he has released material through Spinnin' Records, Owsla, Barong Family and Monstercat.
In 2015 he founded his own label, Bitbird, which has since released his singles “Still Looking” and “Light” as well as his debut album, Album1, which came out in September 2018 and debuted at number seven on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart. San Holo was nominated for New Artist of the Year at the Electronic Music Awards in 2017, and he has continued releasing full-length albums, including BB U OK? in 2021 and Existential Dance Music in 2023.
Bitbird has also become a launching pad for other artists, including Taska Black, extending San Holo's influence as a curator alongside his own touring and DJ career. His sound spans trap, future bass and ambient textures, a blend that carries through both his studio releases and his live DJ sets on the international festival circuit.
