Robert Nickson — Trance DJ & Producer

Robert Nickson is a trance producer and DJ known both under his own name and through his RNX alter ego, a project he has revisited for more than a decade. Signed to Solarstone's Pure Trance Recordings, he became the label's top-selling artist across both monikers, releasing no fewer than seventeen productions including the RNX tracks “Colorado” and “Atoms,” both described as mega-sellers, alongside a reworking of Solarstone's “Rain Stars Eternal.” His debut solo album, “Tellurian,” arrived in 2019, while the RNX album “Oscillate,” featuring collaborations with Forerunners, Mir Omar, Matter, and Andromedha, took roughly four years to complete. Nickson co-mixed “Pure Trance Vol. 6” and has toured from London to Los Angeles, Sydney, and San Francisco, with his set style noted for avoiding flashy stage effects in favor of a more immersive listening journey. His track “Spiral” from 2004 earned praise from Armin van Buuren and a Mixmag review, and his music has since appeared on ASOT and FSOE compilations, cementing a long-running presence within the European trance touring circuit.
