About Riva Starr
Riva Starr, born Stefano Miele in Naples, Italy in 1974 and based in London since 2008, is a DJ and producer who founded the label Snatch! Records. He built his reputation over roughly twenty years of DJing, including marathon ten-hour sets in his native Naples, before more than a decade of production work brought him wider recognition, notably through Eat Sleep Rave Repeat, his collaboration with Fatboy Slim. Miele has played major festivals including Glastonbury and Fuji Rock, and has released house records on prominent labels such as Defected, Glitterbox, Hot Creations, Cajual and Black Book Records, alongside remixes for artists including London Grammar.
His Snatch! Records imprint has served both as an outlet for his own material and a platform for his DJ sets under the Defected-affiliated House Masters series. His 2025 album Keep Me On The Dancefloor, released on Snatch! Records, featured collaborations with Harry Stone and remixes by FKA Mash and Kolter, and has received support from DJs including Pete Tong and Adam Beyer.
Riva Starr continues to tour internationally as a club and festival DJ while running Snatch! Records as his primary creative platform.
