REZZ
Rezz, born Isabelle Rezazadeh in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is a Ukrainian-Canadian DJ and producer known for a dark, hypnotic bass sound built on heavy use of a digital audio workstation in her live sets. She began DJing at sixteen, initially playing other artists' music before a Deadmau5 concert pushed her toward producing her own tracks, and her 2015 debut EP Insurrection arrived via Owsla's Nest HQ sub-label.
Rezz signed to Mau5trap in 2016, releasing The Silence Is Deafening and Something Wrong Here before her debut album Mass Manipulation in 2017 and Certain Kind of Magic in 2018, both of which fed directly into an evolving festival stage show built around her signature dark-lensed glasses and immersive visual design. Her third album, Spiral, came via RCA Records in 2021, after which she founded her own label, HypnoVizion Records, releasing Can You See Me?
in 2024 with a heavier bass focus, followed by As the Pendulum Swings in 2025, which drew on French electro and dark techno. Rezz tours extensively across North American festivals, with her DJ sets built around the same eerie, grungy aesthetic that defines her catalog.
