Rey & Kjavik
Rey&Kjavik is the solo alias of Alexander Schomann, a DJ and producer from Offenbach, Germany, whose sets move through organic and deep electronica built on hypnotic grooves and meditative rhythms. His performance history includes sets at Watergate in Berlin, Scorpios in Mykonos for sunset and sunrise slots, Burning Man, Fusion Festival and the Biennale in Bukhara, spanning club, beach-club and festival environments across several continents.
Schomann releases music through his own imprint, RKJVK, where tracks like Baba City, Saraswati and Esha have anchored a catalogue defined by warmth, spiritual undertones and immersive builds designed for long-form dancefloor journeys. He has also built a reputation as a remixer, reworking tracks by Danit, Mogli and Yuma into versions that have reached millions of streams and traveled beyond his home organic house scene, and he curated and produced a Buddha-Bar compilation that extended his sound into the chill-out and lounge circuit.
His music has also appeared in film and television placements. Rey&Kjavik's touring calendar has included stops at European festivals such as Katermukke Festival in Hamburg and Nomad Festival in Hungary, keeping him active on both the club and open-air circuits from his Offenbach base.
