Radical Redemption
Radical Redemption, the Dutch hardstyle DJ and producer born Joey van Ingen, made five consecutive appearances in the DJ Mag Top 100 between 2014 and 2018, peaking at number 44 in 2017. Signed to his own label Redemption Records, he has built a touring career centred on major hardstyle events including Defqon.1, Dominator, Qlimax and Loudness, festivals that anchor the genre's European calendar. His sound sits primarily in rawstyle, a harder-edged strand of hardstyle built around aggressive kick drums, and he is also part of the hardcore trio Minus Militia alongside Chain Reaction and Crypsis.
Booked internationally through Anna Agency, he has continued to play large-scale hardstyle festivals well over a decade after his 2011 breakthrough. DJ Mag described him as a master of severe kick drums, a descriptor that reflects the raw production style running through both his DJ sets and his own releases. His track The Brutal Saga has become one of his most recognised festival anthems, regularly featured in his own live sets and those of other hardstyle DJs.
He remains one of the more consistently ranked Dutch hardstyle artists across the past decade of DJ Mag polling.
