R3hab
Fadil El Ghoul, known as R3HAB, is a Dutch-Moroccan DJ from Breda whose work spans electro house, big room house, future bounce, future house, future bass and bass house. He began releasing music in 2007 with Mrkrstft, which was remixed by Hardwell, and later signed to Afrojack's label after Prutataaa. His career subsequently expanded to mainstage appearances at Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland, placing his adaptable electronic sound in the large-scale festival setting.
R3HAB has paired that touring profile with a sustained curatorial role. He has hosted the weekly I NEED R3HAB show on SiriusXM since 2012 and founded his own label, CYB3RPVNK, which had issued more than 190 tracks by 2019. His releases have also included work with Spinnin' Records, and in 2019 he signed an Asian distribution agreement with Liquid State.
DJ Mag placed him 12th in 2018, and he received the WMC 2012 IDMA Best Breakthrough Artist Award. His 2019 remix of Around The World (La La La) became his most-streamed song, with more than 634 million streams and Spotify chart leadership in eight countries. Across radio, label work and festival mainstages, R3HAB has built a broad electronic-DJ platform rather than confining himself to one house-music lane.
