Psysex
Psysex is an Israeli psytrance duo of Udi Sternberg, who performs as DJ Goblin, and Yoni Oshrat, better known individually as Ace Ventura, who first worked together under the name Children of the Doc in 1997. The pair have released three albums through HOMmega Productions, one of the more established labels within the psytrance genre, giving their partnership a sustained studio output alongside their live and DJ performances. Their sound sits within the psytrance tradition that has strong roots in Israel's electronic music scene, one of the genre's key global centers alongside Goa and parts of Europe. Sternberg and Oshrat's earlier work as Children of the Doc laid the groundwork for the Psysex project, and their continued collaboration over multiple albums points to a long-running creative partnership rather than a short-lived side act. As Psysex, they have built a footprint within psytrance festival and club circuits that draws on both members' individual standing in the scene, with Oshrat's solo work as Ace Ventura in particular carrying weight within psytrance internationally.
