Pole Folder
Pole Folder is the performing name of Brussels-based DJ and multi-instrumentalist Benoît Franquet, who came up as a protégé of John Digweed and has built his DJ and live performance career since 2001 around progressive house and techno. Franquet often performs live rather than purely mixing pre-recorded tracks, incorporating instrumentation into his club sets, a format that has distinguished his performances on the international progressive house circuit.
In 2010 he launched his own label, Reworck, which has grown to roughly 60 releases and serves as a platform for both his own material and tracks from other artists that appear in his sets. His discography includes releases on Bedrock, Global Underground and Renaissance, labels closely tied to the progressive house scene that shaped much of his early career under Digweed's mentorship.
Pole Folder's club and festival bookings have carried his sets across Europe and internationally, with his live, instrument-based performance style setting him apart from more conventional DJ sets within the same genre. Over more than two decades, Pole Folder has combined label ownership, high-profile progressive house releases and a distinctive live approach to sustain his career on the international club circuit.
