About Piemont
Piemont is the German techno and house production and DJ duo of Frederic Möring-Sack and Chris de Jonquieres, who began working together in 2007. Based in Germany, the pair built their reputation as a DJ act playing alongside their studio output, releasing music on labels including Monaberry, Lapsus Music, Glasgow Underground, Exploited and Toolroom before launching their own imprint, Moonless Air, in 2017 to house their own productions and DJ-facing material.
Their Beatport artist profile describes them as a long-running partnership within techno and house, with over a decade of releases underpinning a touring schedule that has taken their DJ sets to clubs and festivals across the German and wider European electronic circuit. Piemont's studio work and their DJ bookings have developed in tandem, with the duo often carrying tracks from their own catalogue directly into their sets alongside edits and remixes for other producers.
The Moonless Air label functions as a creative outlet specifically tied to the sound they present behind the decks, giving the duo a dedicated platform distinct from their earlier work released through outside labels. Piemont remain active within Germany's techno and house scene as both producers and touring DJs.
