Kim Min-ji, known as Peggy Gou, is a South Korean DJ born in Incheon and based in Berlin. She learned to DJ in 2009 after a friend showed her the basics, then began building experience through early London bookings at Cirque Le Soir in Soho and a weekly residency at The Book Club in East London. Her sets move through deep house, minimal trance and tech house, informed by a Berlin-club-scene identity.
In 2016, she made her recording debut on Rekids with Art of War. She made her Boiler Room debut in New York the following year and became the first Korean DJ to play Berghain, a milestone in her club career. In 2018 she signed to Ninja Tune and Phonica, and her track It Makes You Forget won Best Track at the AIM Awards; the track was also included in FIFA 19.
Gou launched Gudu Records in March 2019, adding an independent curatorial outlet to releases on labels including Rekids and Technicolour. That same year, she co-founded the KIRIN fashion label with backing from Virgil Abloh. Her career connects intimate residencies, notable international club appearances and a style that places deep, minimal and tech-house elements in a sharply defined DJ framework.
