Pegboard Nerds
Pegboard Nerds, a Scandinavian DJ and production duo formed by Alexander Odden of Hamar, Norway, and Michael Parsberg of Copenhagen, Denmark, who met in the mid-2000s after Parsberg discovered Odden's production work. Signed to Monstercat, the label's own artist page traces their debut on the imprint with the track Gunpoint VIP, part of a catalog spanning dubstep, electro, trap, drumstep, and glitch hop that has made them a recurring presence on the label's roster.
Their sets and productions have connected them to a wide network of collaborators within bass music, including a credited collaboration with Nghtmre and Krewella on the track Superstar. As a duo they perform DJ sets built around Monstercat's high-energy electronic catalog, with their multi-genre approach reflecting the label's broader identity as a hub for bass-oriented dance music.
Spanish and Slovak Wikipedia entries both confirm their active status since 2012, describing them as disc jockeys and producers whose Scandinavian origins have not limited their reach within the North American-centric Monstercat scene. Their sustained releases and touring presence have kept them a recognizable act within the bass music and EDM festival circuit for over a decade.
