Paul Ritch
Paul Ritch is a techno DJ and producer who took the techno scene by storm on stage and in the studio starting in 2007, building a sound described as powerful and harmonic techno with a touch of emotive soul. He expanded his live capabilities in 2015 by incorporating sound installations into his shows through a dedicated Live Act format, before introducing a distinct DJ Set format in 2016 that drew on additional tools and resources separate from his live productions.
That split between Live Act and DJ Set bookings has allowed Ritch to tailor his club appearances to different event formats, a distinction venues have used when booking him, including a seven-hour, all-night marathon DJ set at Rex Club in Paris in February 2017. His catalogue of releases spans labels such as Planet X, Quartz Recordings and Illegal Alien Records, supporting a touring career built around techno sounds and a broad view of electronic music production.
Ritch has continued to play extended-format club sets in the years since his Rex Club marathon, reinforcing a reputation for stamina-driven techno programming rather than short festival slots. His dual approach, alternating between an equipment-heavy live show and a more conventional DJ set, has defined his touring identity within Europe's techno circuit for well over a decade.
