Park & Sons

Park & Sons is a Dutch techno duo made up of Jorik van de Pol and Vincent Leijen, who began working together in Amsterdam in 2012 after combining separate production backgrounds into a shared project. Their early foothold in the scene came through Compass, a series of warehouse raves they organized and played starting in 2015 inside a large port warehouse in Arnhem, which doubled as a testing ground for new material and a platform for their DJ sets.

The duo released early tracks including Uncle Carl in 2016 through their own Park & Sons Music imprint, followed by EPs such as Pangea, Atlas, Epoch, Magenta, Cobra Club, The Seeker, Terra and Moker. In 2019 they launched a second label, Kobra Records, opening with their own EPs Stellar Nights and Seoul while using the imprint as a platform for other up-and-coming techno producers.

Their sound favors driving, hypnotic techno built for late-night sets, and the pair have continued to develop a live show alongside their studio and DJ output. Park & Sons' path from self-run warehouse parties to a two-label operation reflects a DIY trajectory rooted firmly in the Dutch techno underground.
