Orjan Nilsen
Ørjan Nilsen is a Norwegian trance producer and DJ, born in 1982 in Kirkenes, ranked within the Top 250 of the annual DJ Mag Top 100 poll according to his Wikipedia entry. He has built his career primarily through Armada Music, becoming a long-running member of the Armin van Buuren-affiliated A State of Trance family since the mid-2000s, as noted by Trance Nexus.
His breakthrough came through early productions that caught the attention of the wider progressive trance scene, and Musictech's interview traces his development from formative gear experiences into a defined production and DJ identity shaped over roughly two decades. Kdykam's artist profile confirms his active period beginning around 2005, working across trance and progressive house styles that have kept him touring internationally on Armada-affiliated lineups and festival stages.
Nilsen's discography, distributed through Armada and its In My Opinion imprint, feeds directly into his DJ sets, which blend melodic trance builds with the harder-edged progressive elements that have become a signature of his style. His sustained presence within the ASOT ecosystem and DJ Mag's rankings reflects a career built on both studio output and consistent international touring since the mid-2000s.
