Olivier Giacomotto
Olivier Giacomotto is a French DJ, producer and composer born in Bordeaux in 1976, who built his reputation as a leading name on Beatport's tech-house charts before branching into film and video-game scoring. Also recording under aliases including Superskank, Ohmme and OG, he has been nominated for Beatport Music Awards and spent close to two decades touring internationally as a club DJ, translating his studio output directly into peak-time sets built around tech-house structures. His soundtrack work, including the score for the film The Red Man, grew out of the same production discipline that shaped his dance-floor releases, and he has spoken about balancing DJ bookings with composing work as parallel careers. Giacomotto's DJ sets have carried tracks that outsold much of his tech-house peer group on digital platforms, giving him a consistent presence across European clubs and festivals through the 2010s. He remains active as both a touring DJ and a remixer, continuing to release new productions while expanding into visual and cinematic music projects alongside his club-focused work.
