Nina Kraviz is a Russian DJ born 16 October 1987 in Irkutsk who trained and worked as a dentist before turning her attention full-time to techno, eventually becoming one of the genre's most recognised names on the international festival circuit. She was named Beatport's DJ of the Year in 2014, the same year she founded her own label, трип (Trip), which went on to be voted Best Record Label at the 2015 Mixmag Awards. Kraviz has held residencies and played extended sets in Ibiza, and her booking at Berlin's Berghain placed her among a small number of high-profile DJs to play that famously selective techno club.
She has also recorded sessions for BBC Radio 1, extending her reach into UK broadcast audiences alongside her club and festival dates across Europe, North America and beyond. Kraviz's sets are known for blending raw, hypnotic techno with unpredictable track selection, a style that has made her a consistent festival headliner over the past decade. Her label трип continues to serve as an outlet for artists working in a similar experimental techno vein, reinforcing her role as both a touring DJ and a curator within the scene.
