Nifra
Nifra, born Nikoleta Frajkorová in Bratislava, has been active as a DJ since the late 2000s, building her profile across the 2010s and into the 2020s primarily through her association with Markus Schulz's Coldharbour Recordings, which helped drive her commercial breakthrough in the tech-trance and hard-trance scenes. Her originals and remixes have appeared on Coldharbour and other established trance labels, and she has remixed tracks by Schulz himself as well as by BT and Andrew Bayer, with her material featuring regularly within Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance broadcasts even without hosting a dedicated show of her own. As a touring DJ she has played the milestone event ASOT1000, Beyond Wonderland in Southern California, the Festival X tour in Australia, and in 2023 she counted Tomorrowland and Creamfields among her biggest festival appearances, having performed alongside Tiësto, Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren. That year Trancepodium ranked her tenth on its annual list, identifying her as its highest-placed female trance artist, and she was selected for 1001Tracklists' Future of Dance 2022, a cohort of 101 producers highlighted as shaping the genre's direction. Nifra has also been nominated twice for Best Female Trance Artist at the International Dance Music Awards, reinforcing her standing within the tech-trance and hard-trance touring circuit built around Coldharbour and Group Therapy-affiliated events.
